I have been a business owner since the age
of 15, yep 15 and I learned a long long time ago that if I can
figure out how to get my best message (my

out to a large number of people, build solid relationships with my
clients and customers, while minimizing my costs that I could
probably make a heck of a lot of money. And this is exactly what I

So back in the early 90's I got online. In
fact I was online and telling friends and family about email and
websites and they didn't have a clue what I was talking about. I
actually made my first buck online before people even knew what
the heck email was all about. I'm famous for being able to
generate over $11,000 online within 3 days!
To say I've been through the trenches is an
understatement, but I'll say it anyways. I have studied and worked
with some of the top marketing experts both online and offline
worldwide. Bottom line this isn't about me and my accolades and who
I've worked with but I did want to give you a little background.
The information presented here is about you,
your business and how you plan to thrive in this day and age with
less frustration, less stress and the most cost effective way for
you to get your message out to your target audience and have them

So what led me down the road of learning and
truly understanding marketing. Well I was sick and tired of the
traditional advertising methods (i.e. yellow pages, card decks,
classified ads, etc.) and all that and the results that I was
getting were minute, pitiful and barely enough to pay for the damn
ad in most cases.
See I didn't understand that the folks
selling me the advertising just worked for the company. They
weren't business owners such as myself. They didn't have an
understanding of conversions, building customer loyalty, branding
(not the branding you know), stomping my competitors with
smart marketing and using the internet to drive online traffic
into my sales funnel.
All they knew was 1/4 page ad, full page ad,
the geographical markets it would go out
to etc. This was just like me taking 100's even 1000's of dollars
every single month and flushing it down the toilet because these
guys had no accountability and measurements of the effectiveness
of my advertising campaigns and really didn't give a shit after
they sold me.
Marketing is a contest for people's attention. Plain and simple to
compete and thrive and increase your bottom line, you must learn
how to capture the real estate in your customer's mind.
In 1998, the average consumer saw or heard 1 million marketing
messages - that's almost 3,000 per day. No human being can pay
attention to 3,000 messages every day, wouldn't you agree.
In our present day, guess how many commercial messages consumers
are exposed to everyday?.....Consumers are exposed to
Over 30,000
commercial messages PER DAY!
Now if they couldn't pay attention to 3000 ads a day what in the
heck makes you think 30,000 is any better? I personally love
my TIVO service because guess what, I can fast forward through all
of the commercials and don't have to have my favorite TV show
interrupted with some silly commercial...you feel me?
Are
your customers and potential customers fast forwarding through
your messages. How can you stand out in the crowd? How will you
compete with the your smart marketing competitor who has figured out how to capture
the minds and hearts of their markets while crushing your business?
